1. Why choose ASG Splashbacks?
A: Experts in glass splashbacks, with over 50 years' experience and hundereds of new and unique products never before seen.
2. Benefits of ASG Splashbacks over tiles?
A: No grout joints means no mould and mildew - just clean, hygienic surfaces
3. How should your wall be prepared for an ASG Splashback?
A: a) Walls should be fairly smooth and flat with no protrusions. It can be applied to brick plasterboard, MDF, concrete, gyprock or tiles
b) Kitchen, Benchtops and powerpoints installed
c) If glass is to be fitted under rangehood, mounting points need to be marked or fitted to the wall
d) Other fittings: phones, rails, shelves need to be marked or fitted on wall
4. What are the lead times?
A: 6-9 days from signed contract
5. What colours can I choose from?
A: Any colour is possible. You give us the colour chart or material and we will match it
6. Difference between Krystal Clear and Clear float glass?
A: All glass contains a certain amount of iron (green colour). Krystal Clear has much less iron than Clear Float and therefore less greenness. It therefore gives a truer representation of your chosen colour
7. Difference between Krystal Clear and Starphire glass?
A: While both are considered low iron glass, we believe that Krystal Clear shows the colours that you choose to be brighter and more exact than on Starphire
8. How big can my ASG Splashback be?
A: Maximum measurements for a single splashback panel are 3600mm in length and 2100mm in height
9. How do I know it's safe?
A: While some companies don't toughen all panels of the splashback, at ASG Splashbacks, every sheet of glass is toughened to the highest safety standards on site in our Sydney factory. By toughening the glass, our product is five times stronger than un-toughened glass. It is also more heat resistant, resulting in a safer and more durable product
10. Warranty?
A: ASG Splashbacks have a 12 year limited warranty, covering workmanship, discolouration, delamination and thermal breakage in accordance with relevant Australian Standards.
11. Payments?
A: Cash, bank cheque or credit card on delivery. A deposit is required when placing your order.
